Macquarie University Clinical Associates (MUCA) is seeking an Interventional Pulmonology and Respiratory Fellow to provide clinical services for both respiratory inpatients and outpatients. The role has a significant interventional component and is ideal for a new fellow seeking to further their skills in interventional pulmonology (IP).

The role has a significant interventional component with Macquarie University Hospital at the forefront of this new subspecialty and a designated centre of excellence for interventional pulmonology (IP). MQ Health Respiratory is also at the forefront of both management and research into bronchoscopic techniques for lung volume reduction in COPD.
In April 2015 Professor Felix Herth from Heidelberg, Germany presented the course together with the Australian Interventional Pulmonology team at Maquarie University Hospital. Professor Alvin Ing is a Professor, Respiratory Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Macquarie University. He has been involved in interventional pulmonology since 1993, when he helped establish endobronchial laser resection and stent deployment at Concord Hospital.
