The Sunflower Collective takes its name from one of Vincent van Gogh's most famous works: Sunflowers. He painted them in Arles in the South of France in 1888 and 1889. Sunflowers held a special significance for Vincent - they symbolised inspiration, friendship and gratitude: three notions that form the foundations of this circle of friends.
