The R'Dmeure vineyard on a north/south slope, was planted in 1991. It comprises one hectare of close-planted Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Merlot vines. R. D'Meure Coal Valley Riesling 2019. Posted on 08 May 2021. There's a remarkable suite of wines that's come out of this pint-sized producer based in Birchs Bay, Tasmania. Rory Duggan is custodian of the lauded d'Meure vineyard site and continues at pace with patiently made and released wines. This wine emerges from Coal Valley, however.
