After more than forty voyages to Dumont Durville, Mawson, Davis, Casey, McMurdo and to some other very remote areas of Eastern Antarctica, I have acquired a solid experience of polar and ice navigation and also a specific knowledge of these regions: local ice and weather conditions, persistency of events, caracteristics of tides and currents, bathymetry.
