Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery is an all volunteer organization made up of qualified members, which specializes in person and vehicle recoveries in the Colorado backcountry. Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery is a 501 (c) (3) non profit, and works exclusively on forest service roads and 4×4 trails within the state of Colorado.
September 23 ·. Wednesday the 22nd a team from Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery went up Texas Creek west of Pueblo to recover a Jeep that slid off the trail and was sitting at a 30 degree angle. That is an uncomfortable amount of side tilt for most, and extremely close to the tip-over limit of most vehicles.
