About Jamieson Cottages Jamieson Cottages was the vision of a 'local legend' Jim Black who first came to the area in the 1950's whilst living and working in Benalla. He was smitten by Jamieson's beautiful English trees, the rugged terrain which surrounds the town and its peaceful environment.
Beds were so comfortable and the cottage impeccably clean. We have stayed in these cottages ourselves and have no hesitation in recommending them. Even though there was a little further to drive the peace,location and presentation of this accomodation is well worth it. We will continue to reccomend Jamieson Cottages by the river.
On the banks of the Jamieson River, in a quiet location in the picturesque town of Jamieson, are the Jamieson Cottages By The River. These well appointed, self contained cottages feature wood fires, air conditioning, are an easy stroll to the centre of town and are the perfect place to relax and unwind, or even wind in a trout from the river, just steps from the cottages.
